Reset your password
Forgot your password? Get a reset link by email and set a new one; this signs you out everywhere.
If you forgot your password, or want to sign out on every device, set a new one with an emailed link.
Ask for a reset link
- On the sign-in page, select Forgot password?.
- On Reset your password, enter the email of your account.
- Select Send reset link.
The page always answers Check your inbox. If your email belongs to an account, a reset link is on its way. It says so whether or not the address has an account, so nobody can use the page to find out who has one.
Set the new password
- Open the link in the email. It is valid for 30 minutes and works once. Asking for a new link cancels the earlier ones.
- On Set a new password, enter the New password: at least 8 characters, with at least one number.
- Repeat it in Confirm new password.
- Select Save new password.
The sign-in page opens with Your password has been changed. Sign in with the new one. Sign in with the new password.
You are signed out everywhere
Saving a new password ends every session of your account, on every device, including the browser you are using. Anyone who knew the old password loses access.
If the link does not work
- This password reset link is invalid or has expired. Request a new one. means the link is older than 30 minutes, was already used, or a newer link replaced it. Select Request a new link and use the newest email.
- No email? Check your spam folder, and make sure you entered the address your account uses. The email is sent in your profile language.
- After several requests in a short time, new requests are ignored for about 15 minutes.
