Languages
Choose which of English, Armenian and Russian people can use, the default for new users, and see how complete each translation is.
The portal is translated into English, Armenian and Russian. The Global Admin decides which of them people can choose.
Who can use it
The Global Admin: Sidebar › Settings › Languages in the platform context.
The settings
Each language has:
- Enabled: whether people can choose it.
- Default for new users: the language a new account starts with.
- Translated: how complete the translation is. Hover it to see the interface and the server messages apart, and the missing texts, if any.
Each switch and choice saves at once.
Rules
- English is always on. It is the fallback language: any text without a translation is shown in English. So it cannot be turned off.
- The default must be an enabled language; choose another default before turning a language off.
- A turned-off language is no longer offered when choosing a language for a person, an organization or a complex. Anyone who already uses it keeps it.
- Changes are written to the audit log.
