Meters
The water, gas and electricity meters of each unit, whose readings owners submit every month.
A unit can have one active meter of each kind: cold water, hot water, gas and electricity. Owners then submit a reading for each meter of their units every month, and the management reviews them.
Who can use it
Anyone whose role has Manage meters & readings: the Complex Admin, or an Org or Global Admin inside the complex.
Add a meter
- Open Sidebar › Units and choose a unit to open its card.
- In Meters, choose Add meter.
- Pick the kind and enter the Serial number and the Initial reading, 0 for a new meter. The Installed on date is optional.
- Save the form.

In the Getting started checklist
The recommended Set up the meters step of the Getting started checklist is done once any unit of the complex has an active meter. Skip it when the complex does not collect readings through the portal. Do it opens Units.
