Invitations

When the portal refuses something, it says why in a short message. Find the message below; the code after it is what support will ask for.

This invitation link is not valid.

Code: INVITATION_NOT_FOUND

The link is incomplete or mistyped. Copy the whole link from the email, or paste its code into Open an invitation link on the sign-in page.

This invitation has expired. Ask the person who invited you for a new one.

Code: INVITATION_EXPIRED

Invitations are valid for 14 days. Ask the person who invited you to send a new one.

This invitation has already been accepted.

Code: INVITATION_ALREADY_USED

The invitation was accepted already, maybe by you. Just sign in.

This invitation was withdrawn.

Code: INVITATION_REVOKED

An administrator withdrew it. Ask them whether you should still join.

An account with this email already exists. Sign in to accept the invitation.

Code: INVITATION_REQUIRES_SIGN_IN

Select Sign in to accept, sign in with that email, and accept.

This invitation was sent to another email address.

Code: INVITATION_EMAIL_MISMATCH

You are signed in with another account. Sign out and sign in with the invited email.

The user already holds this role here.

Code: MEMBERSHIP_EXISTS

The person already has this role here, so there is nothing to add.

You cannot decide your own request or act on a unit you own. Another staff member must do it.

Code: SELF_APPROVAL_FORBIDDEN

Nobody can decide their own request or change their own access. Ask a colleague to do it.
