Asset register

What the building owns, such as elevators, pumps, the roof and the intercom, with warranties, expected life and repair history.

This part of the portal is planned and not built yet. The article describes what is planned, so you know what to expect. Planned under #750

This part of the portal is planned. Here is what it will do.

What is planned

  • List what the building owns: elevators, pumps, the boiler, the roof, the facade, the intercom, fire safety and more. Each asset has its place, manufacturer, model and serial number.
  • Keep each asset’s installation date, expected life, replacement cost, condition and warranty, so you see its age, the year it is due for replacement and a warning when the warranty is about to end.
  • Link maintenance tickets and planned maintenance to an asset, so each asset shows its repair history and its next planned work.
  • Keep manuals, certificates and photos with the asset.

Admins will register, edit and retire assets. Maintenance staff and concierges will be able to look them up.

In the Getting started checklist

The recommended Register the building’s assets step of the Getting started checklist is done once the complex has an active asset. Until the register’s screens arrive, the checklist offers no Do it for it: skip the step.
