Complex profile
A complex's public and legal details, contacts, currency, languages and time zone, kept by its administrators.
The complex profile holds the details owners, residents and documents rely on: the name and address, the legal entity and bank account, the contacts, and the complex’s currency, languages and time zone.
Who can use it
A Complex Admin, and an Org Admin or Global Admin inside the complex: Sidebar › Settings › Complex profile. Staff sub-roles cannot open it.
What you can change
- Complex name (2–120 characters), Address and Year built (1800 to this year).
- Legal entity and bank: Legal entity, Tax ID (TIN) (exactly 8 digits), Bank, Account number, Phone and Email.
- Currency, time zone and languages: the Default currency, the Time zone and the Languages the complex uses.
- Branding, only while the organization’s plan includes White label: the complex’s own Complex display name and logos, shown to its people over the organization’s brand. Leave the name empty to use the organization’s; each image is saved as soon as it is uploaded. See Brand your portal.
The complex’s type, organization, map location and photo are set by the platform administrator on the complex itself.
Select Save changes in the bar at the bottom. Leaving the page with unsaved changes asks Leave without saving? first.
Rules
- English stays. English is the fallback language, so it cannot be removed from the complex’s languages. Content with no translation is shown in English.
- Only enabled languages and currencies can be newly chosen. A language or currency the complex already uses stays, even if the platform later turns it off.
- The time zone can be changed only by a Global Admin or the organization’s admin; a Complex Admin sees it read-only. Changing it asks for confirmation: scheduled runs such as reminders and late fees follow the new zone from then on, and dates already recorded stay as they are.
- The currency locks once amounts are recorded in it. Until the finance module arrives no amounts are recorded, so the currency can still change.
- If someone else saved the profile meanwhile, a dialog offers Reload or Keep editing, so nobody’s change is lost silently.
Every save that changes something is written to the audit log, with the names of the changed fields.
