Owner or resident

An owner holds a share of one or more units in a complex; a resident lives in a unit without owning it. Both reach the portal on the web today and, later, in a mobile app.

What owners and residents do

The owner’s menu holds:

• Home: a dashboard of your balance, requests and the latest news.
• My properties: your units, co-owners and residents.
• Payments: invoices and payments; owners only.
• Requests: maintenance requests and their progress.
• Chat, Announcements, Voting (owners only), Documents, Bookings, Guest passes and Meter readings.
• Profile & notifications: your contact details and what the portal tells you about.

Requests, Bookings, Guest passes and Meter readings still open a Coming soon page; the others work. The sidebar, the context switcher, language and theme already work, and an owner or resident with an account can sign in.

Owner and resident

A resident will see the same menu as an owner except Voting, and will pay nothing through the portal unless they are a tenant who submits payment receipts.

On a phone

On a phone, the owner’s pages use a tab bar at the bottom instead of a sidebar: Home, Payments, Requests and Chat, with the rest under More.
