These terms apply to the HOA Portal website and to the portal, the online service for homeowners associations and management companies. By creating an account or using the portal, you accept them.
The service
HOA Portal helps associations and management companies run their complexes: units and owners, roles and permissions, communication and, as they become available, finance, governance and operations. The website marks which features are available today and which are coming soon.
Accounts
- An organization’s administrators decide who joins it and with which role; they invite users and can end their access.
- Keep your password secret and tell us, or your organization, if you suspect someone else used your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- The details you give must be accurate. Anyone who signs up for an organization must be entitled to act for it.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service to break the law, to send spam, to upload malware or content you have no right to share, to access data you are not allowed to see, or to disrupt the service or test its security without our written permission.
Plans, trials and payment
The Free plan is free for as long as the organization stays within its limits. The Standard plan is charged per unit and the Enterprise plan is priced by agreement, as shown on the pricing page. A free trial of a paid plan ends automatically, and the organization then moves to the Free plan unless it buys a subscription. Prices may change; a change applies from the next billing period and is announced in advance.
Your data
Each organization owns the data it enters and decides what happens to it. We process it only to provide the service, as described in the privacy policy. An organization can export its data and ask us to delete it when it leaves.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available and secure, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted. We may improve or change features; when a change removes something an organization relies on, we tell it in advance.
Liability
The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses or for losses caused by how users use the service. Nothing in these terms limits rights that the law does not allow us to limit.
Ending the service
An organization can stop using the service at any time. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms. We may update these terms; when a change is significant, we tell organizations before it applies, and the date at the top of the page shows the current version.
