Organizations
The management companies and associations on the platform: create them, keep their details, and suspend, archive or restore them.
An organization is a management company or an association that uses the portal. It owns complexes, has its own administrators, and sets the defaults its new complexes start from.
Who can use it
Only the Global Admin, in the platform context: Sidebar › Organizations. Anyone else gets not found.
The list
The list shows each organization’s Name, Status, Tax ID (TIN), Contact, Currency, Plan and when it was Created, and optionally its Legal entity. Plan is the organization’s default plan in effect today, or No plan.
- Search by name, legal entity, TIN or email.
- Filter by status: Active, Suspended or Archived.
- Show demo sandboxes also lists demo organizations, which are hidden by default and tagged Demo.
- Sort by name, status or creation date, and save the view. The list has no export.
Create and edit
New organization opens a form:
- Name, required, 2–120 characters and unique on the platform.
- Tax ID (TIN), required, exactly 8 digits.
- Legal entity, Contact person, Phone, Email and Address, all optional.
- The defaults for its new complexes: Default currency (required), Default language (required) and Default time zone (empty means the platform’s zone). Each complex can still choose its own.
The new organization opens straight away, Active. Edit on its page changes the same fields. If someone else saved it meanwhile, the form closes and reloads so you do not overwrite their change.
Statuses
| Status | What its members can do |
|---|---|
| Active | Everything their roles allow. |
| Suspended | Sign in and read everything, but every change is refused. |
| Archived | Nothing: the organization, its complexes and everything in them read as not found. Nothing is deleted. |
Allowed changes, each with a confirmation:
- Active → Suspend or Archive
- Suspended → Reactivate or Archive
- Archived → Restore, back to Active
A banner on the organization’s page says since when it is suspended or archived. Organizations are never deleted.
The organization’s page
Tabs: Profile (its details with its Current plan, who created it and, when suspended, why), Admins (its organization admins), Plan (below), Branding (its white-label brand, see Brand your portal), and Complexes and Usage, which are coming soon.
The Plan tab
Every organization has a default plan, one of the billing plans. All its complexes and units are billed on it, unless a complex or a unit has a plan of its own.
The tab shows the Current plan, marked Trial during a free trial, and the Plan history: every default plan the organization has had, with its version, From, Until (Open-ended for the last one) and when it was Assigned.
Change plan asks for the Plan and the Starting month:
- Only an Active plan can be chosen.
- The plan starts on the first day of the month you choose, the current month or a later one. Invoices already issued keep their plan.
- All the plans of one organization, its complexes’ and units’ included, must be in the same currency.
- The default plan can be replaced, never removed.
The organization stays on the plan’s version of the day it was assigned: publishing new prices later does not change it. Organization admins see their organization’s plans in their complexes but cannot change them.
Hard limits
When the default plan in effect has a Hard: block limit, the organization cannot go over it: creating, generating or importing units beyond the Units cap, or attaching a file beyond the Storage (MB) cap, is refused with a message naming the limit. During a free trial the caps are at most 1,000 units and 5 GB, whatever the plan allows. Nothing that already exists is removed. Demo organizations have no limits.
Every change is recorded
Creating, editing, every status change and every plan assignment are written to the audit log.
