Clone the structure
Fill an empty complex from one you already set up: blocks, entrances, floors, streets and custom unit types in one step.
A new complex often looks like one you already have. Clone from… copies another complex’s structure into an empty one in one step.
Who can use it
Anyone with Edit units in both complexes, on Building structure › Setup of the empty complex. The button shows only while the complex has no blocks, entrances, floors or streets.
What is copied
- Blocks, with their code, name and order.
- Entrances, with their code, order and block.
- Floors, with their number and label.
- Streets, with their name and order.
- Active custom unit types, in all languages, unless the target already has a type with one of their names.
What is not copied
Units, owners, archived custom types, the profile and settings, and the role permissions.
Rules
- The source is in the same organization, is not archived, and has the same type: a building copies from a building, a district from a district.
- The target has no structure and no units yet.
- A complex cannot copy itself.
When it finishes, the portal confirms what was copied, such as Structure cloned from Arabkir Residence: 3 entrances, 18 floors, and records the copy in the audit log.
