Unit types
The built-in kinds of unit, and the custom types a complex adds for anything else, such as a wine cellar or a workshop.
Every unit has a type. The built-in types cover most complexes; a complex adds custom types for the rest.
Who can use it
Sidebar › Settings › Unit types, with Edit units: a Complex Admin, or an Org or Global Admin inside the complex.
Built-in types
Apartment, House, Commercial space, Office, Parking slot, Storage room and Land plot. Apartments and houses count as residential: they count toward occupancy and toward fees charged per resident.
Custom types
Add type opens a dialog:
- Name (English), required, and names in Armenian and Russian, each up to 80 characters. A missing translation shows the English name.
- Counts as residential: whether units of this type count toward occupancy and resident-based fees.
Two active types of a complex cannot share a name in the same language, ignoring upper and lower case.
Archive a type
Archive retires a type: new units can no longer take it, and units that already have it keep it. Archiving cannot be undone, and an archived type cannot be edited. Show archived lists archived types too. Types are never deleted.
Every change is written to the audit log.
